QUALIFICATION RULES
DEPARTMENT: INSTRUMENTAL ART (level II)
(single-stage remote exams)
a). Playing an instrument - performing a recital lasting approximately 30 - 35 minutes.
Program Requirements:
any stylistically diverse program at the bachelor's degree level;
Guidelines for recordings (in the case of remote exams):
- recordings must contain sound and image in a resolution no higher than 720p;
- the recording should show the entire figure of the Candidate, especially the hands and face;
- you cannot use montage of pieces (recording from one take);
- it is permissible to record each piece/movement separately;
- the module for attaching a recording is included in the recruitment application in the IRK system: my account → enrollment applications → additional information;
- the IRK system accepts links to a virtual disk, to a streaming service or files up to 350 MB in size. The responsibility for properly placing and making available materials via a link to a virtual disk or streaming service in a way that allows the Examination Committee to read the material lies with the Candidate.
- The program should be performed from memory (does not apply to wind instruments, drums, harpsichord, organ, historical instruments).
Candidates applying for admission to the following instruments: historical violin, historical viola, historical cello, traverso flute, historical oboe, natural trumpet, lute - take the examination on the above-mentioned instruments.
The Commission reserves the right to shorten the program.
In the case of remote exams, video files in MP4 format should be attached to the IRK system.
- minimum number of points: (16 pts x 3) = 48 pts.
- maximum number of points: (25 pts x 3) = 75 pts.
b). Specialist examination in cultural knowledge, thematically related to the selected field and specialty of study (oral examination).
- minimum number of points: 14 points.
- maximum number of points: 25 points.
